The corpora are all linked by means of a thesaurus allowing for data queries according to subjects predetermined by specialists involved in the project. These categories include toponyms with sectorised subcategories, surnames, and administrative and religious functions. In technical terms, the thesaurus enables connection points to be made, item by item, among the different databases through a search engine.
